German electronic DJ and producer Robin Schulz will be performing at the Fonda Theatre on September 24 in anticipation of his upcoming album Sugar to be released in September. The deep house artist has been active since 2007 and released the single “Sugar Sugar” last month, featuring vocals from Canadian recording artist Francesco Yates and samples Baby Bash’s 2003 single “Suga Suga.”
In 2013, Schulz remixed the song “Waves” by Dutch hip hop artist, Mr. Probz. Another equally famous remix was his 2014 remix of the Lilly Wood & the Prick track “Prayer in C” from their 2010 album Invincible Friends. Both remixes have charted in many European countries, leading to international recognition.
The first single “Headlights” from his upcoming album charted high on multiple charts, including the Australia ARIA at #2 and Top 40 Austria, also at #2. Be sure to catch dance DJ at the Fonda Theatre next month!
