Earlier this year, El-P signed on to contribute to the soundtrack of the August 2015 blockbuster Fantastic Four. But after revealing a snippet of the new song during Run The Jewels’ Apple Music Beats 1 radio show, the artist decided to release “Another Body” before the previously planned August 7th drop.
El-P, otherwise known as Jaime Meline is an American hip-hop artist, rapper, producer, and entrepreneur from New York City who has been a driving force in the hip hop world for over 20 years. El-P has worked with several record companies including Fool’s Gold Records, Rawkus Records, Thrill Jockey, Fat Possum Records, Big Dada, and Thirsty Ear Recordings as well as owning his own Definite Jux. The artist is also associated with Company Flow, The Weathermen, Cannibal Ox, Das Racist, Aesop Rock, Despot and Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire.
Lately, El-P’s duo Run The Jewels have been all over the media. Killer Mike thought about running for Georgia State Representation, the duo performed their single “Early” in the back of a cab, they released a preview of Meow the Jewels song “Creown”, announced their 2015 tour dates,shot a new visual for “Early”,headlined at Coachella and announced their upcoming appearances at FYF Fest.
