Bayside is an American rock band from New York. Formed in 2000, the group got its name when going to a New Found Glory show. With a demo to give to the band, they had to quickly think of a title. Passing Bayside train station, the name was created and stuck in the time after. The band is now signed to Hopeless Records and are celebrating their 15th year together.
Their sixth and most recent studio album, Cult, was released in 2014 with eleven tracks. With high reviews, the record was ranked on Kerrang!’s Top 50 Rock Albums of 2014. The album begins with the song “Big Cheese” which builds up listeners wondering what lies ahead in the rest of the songs. The impressive beginning is followed by deep lyrics that carry through in the music of Cult. With the success of this album, the band rereleased the record with four bonus tracks.
Frontman Anthony Raneri brings crowds to life with his talented work as a singer and guitarist. Bayside has toured across the world and has performed in events such as Warped Tour. The band has multiple charts on Billboard, including #6 on the Top Rock Albums list with Cult. The band will tour across the country kicking off this summer.
