Evanescence will be resurfacing after a three-year respite to tour Nashville, Dallas, and Los Angeles this November. This will be the band’s first live performance since 2012. They have also confirmed their appearance at Ozzfest Japan, the first major international music festival ever to travel to Japan, which will be just outside of Tokyo November 21 and 22.
Singer Amy Lee says “You know, we’re playing Japan, and it seems like a waste to do all that practice for just one show… So to finally answer the auestion many of you have been asking since the Ozzfest announcement, Yes. We’re adding three US dates in November!”
In 2012, Evanescence released their hit self-titled album, filmed video for their single “My Heart is Broken”, headlined at Sonisphere France 2012 Festival, performed on Conan O’ Brien and toured with Carnival of Madness.
Since then, Evanescence’s media presence has been few and far between. They released reissue of Fallen for its 10 year anniversary and singer Amy Lee released an album with Dave Eggar.
Evanescence fans are ecstatic that the group is re-emerging.
