WATCH: Heartless Bastards Release New Video For “Hi-Line” Featuring Bushwick Bill

After releasing video in late May, Garage rockers Heartless Bastards have unveiled a new music video for their song, “Hi-Line,” which is taken from the band’s recently released album, Restless Ones.

Frank Weysos directed this latest video, and it stars Jamaican-born American rapper – and Geto Boys member – Bushwick Bill. The rapper has been cast as the agent, who books various musical acts for people over the phone. Each phone call finds him telling his listener that he has just the band they’re looking for, whether it is a country or rock band, or a hip-hop act.

Apart from his appearance in this video, Bushwick Bill has been busy with the Geto Boys, who have recently announced a Kickstarter to fund their upcoming album, Habeas Corpus.

Can you guess where the Heartless Bastards fit into the video’s cast of characters?

Yes, that’s right, the video for “Hi-Line” rolls clips of the band having a great time dressing up in – albeit rather stereotypical – regalia and costumes that fit with the fictional bands and acts they are portraying. So, you will be able to see what Heartless Bastards look like gangsters cruising through their neighborhood, a death metal band decked out in dark eye shadows and pale makeup, and a classic country act donning cowboy hats, boots, and blue jeans.

Check it out, below.

Restless Ones was released on June 16th, and is the band’s fifth studio album. The album was recorded in a 10-day session at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas, and Grammy Award-winning producer John Congleton, who is best known for his work with St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, and Swans, amongst others, produced this latest Heartless Bastards album.

Lastly, the band is on a summer tour, which will run through the fall, and we have a complete listing of currently announced dates, below.
