Joyce Manor is an American punk rock band that consists of Barry Johnson, Chase Knobbe, Jeff Enzor, and Matt Ebert. Originally a duo, the idea to form a band began in 2008 in a Disneyland parking lot. They started with a folk-punk sound, but soon found their passion leaning more towards loud pop-punk. Six EP’s later and tours extending across the country, the band strives for only perfection in creating their art.
As a new band, Joyce Manor’s first release was a self titled album which quickly gained high praise. Their second album, Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired, led to their offer from Asian Man Records. The group’s latest record, Never Hungover Again, redefined the band in what became their most successful work. Vocalist Johnson describes the album as being the feeling of loneliness to a person when truly, everything joyful is right in sight.
Joyce Manor connects with fans by sharing deep passion through their work. Now signed to Epitaph Records, the band combines great enthusiasm and precision in making their music. The group will begin touring later in the summer with Otep as support.
