Chris Brown is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter from Virginia. Brown’s interest in music began at a young age, where he participated in local talent shows and sang in his church choir. His first album, released in 2005, went double platinum in the United States. Ever since, he has been one of the strongest male artist leads in his time. All six of Brown’s studio albums have reached the top ten in Billboard’s 200 list. His latest record, X, serves as a follow-up to his previous album, Fortune. The diverse sound of X led to generally positive reviews from critics, later placing at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album features artists such as Kendrick Lamar and production by Diplo. His most recent work is a collaborative record with rapper Tyga, called Fan of a Fan: The Album.
