L.A.-based duo De Lux and Dan Wilcox will be performing at the One Colorado Courtyard in Old Pasadena on June 6 as part of KCRW’s signature outdoor event. The concert series brings dozens of shows to audiences across the city each year to experience a collection of 17 historic buildings that house a curated mix of retailers and designers, unique local merchants, restaurants, and a boutique cinema. The free event for all ages is now in its 6th season.
De Lux’s 2014 debut album Voyage had the duo taking their influences and creating a sound all their own. Now that group members Sean Guerin and Isaac Franco have experience cooking up post-punk and danceable pop, they are set to release their new album Generation, out on June 23. The album is expected to have an alternative electronic dance vibe.
KCRW DJ Dan Wilcox will open the night at 7:30 p.m. and De Lux will take the stage at 8 p.m. Be sure to catch De Lux as it embarks on its new musical journey. It will be the same day as Make Music Pasadena so make sure to plan accordingly!
