In the midst of releasing their latest album Fantasy Empire and announcing slew of spring tour dates, Lightning Bolt, the “noise” rock duo hailing from Providence, Rhode Island have shared a brand new video for “The Metal East” via Spin.
Illustrated by Lale Westvind, the video is an eclectic mix of psychedelically entrancing images. It features a wide array of viscous monsters, from cyborgs to killer cats to a bulky she-man alien monster. The chaotic mixture of polychromatic images makes it difficult to keep your eyes from being glued to the screen. If you were to imagine “The Metal East” in Adventure Time/alien cartoon style, this is it.
