This March, Ryn Weaver was busy taking Texas by storm at this year’s SXSW Festival. But this summer, her fans across the country will finally have the chance to see her perform when she heads out on her upcoming headlining tour. In addition to her headlining tour dates, Ryn Weaver is also playing a ton festivals, like Coachella, Bonnaroo, and nearby Firefly. Her tour dates kick off this July in California, and then the young singer/songwriter will maker her way to Philly for a performance at the TLA on July 23rd. Grab your tickets now, you do not want to miss this one!
Ryn Weaver’s tour is in support of her upcoming debut album, The Fool, which is slated for release on June 16th via Mad Love/Interscope Records. You probably recognize her from her hit single “OctaHate,” which is of course featured on the new album. That track was produced and written by some pretty familiar names, including super producer Benny Blanco, pop star Charli XCX, electronic producer Cashmere Cat, and Michael Angelakos (frontman of Passion Pit).
Ryn Weaver’s stardom is definitely on the rise, having been listed on several “artists to watch” lists including lists from Time Magazine, MTV, and the Huffington Post. But her success came rather quickly, with the SoundCloud release of “OctaHate” reaching over 600,000 plays in its first week. Catch her this July when she takes the stage at The TLA!
