iLoveMakonnen is headed out on his first headlining tour of the US this spring. The tour is being dubbed the “Loudest of the Loud Tour,” and iLoveMakkonen will kick things off in NYC at the end of April. He’ll bring the party to Philly this May. You can catch him a few days later at Underground Arts on May 2nd. He’s also playing a few festival gigs this year, both at home and internationally.
The rapper/singer/producer is perhaps best known for his hit track, “Tuesday.” The song, which features rap heavyweight Drake, earned him a Grammy nomination for the rap/sung collaboration award. And that’s not the end of his work with the Toronto rapper. iLoveMakonnen is now a member of Drake’s OVOSound Label. He is said to have some songs in the works with DJ Mustard and Miley Cyrus.
iLoveMakonnen has an LP due out soon, with rumored guests including the likes of Diplo, Skrillex, and Rihanna. He recently released a new single, produced by DJ Carnage. You can take a listen to “I Like Tuh.”
