Bravalla Festival 2015 Lineup Announced Featuring Faith No More, Muse and Calvin Harris

For the third annual installment of the largest and most popular music festival in Sweden, Bravalla organizers have pulled in arguably their biggest lineup to date.

Looking to break their attendance record for a second straight year, the festival has brought on huge names like Faith No More, Muse and Calvin Harris. Along with Muse and Calvin Harris, British pop phenomenon Robbie Williams will be headliningg the festival this June 25th-27th.

The line up also features a wide cross-section of genres, included a Thursday lineup that’s stacked with some of metals biggest acts. In Flames, Every Time I Die, Parkway Drive, Arch Enemy and Lamb of God are all scheduled to play on Thursday, but they’ll also be sharing the festival grounds with EDM artists like Steve Aoki, Fritz Kalkbrenner and Rebecca & Fiona.

Though Early Bird ticket prices have ended, there are still plenty of passes available at standard pricing rates through the festival’s website. A standard festival pass fetches 2,090 Swedish kronor–equivalent to a little less than 250 USD as of the writing of this article. The festival offers upgraded passes for attendees that want to camp, as well as single-day passes that start at 895 SEK (≈105 USD).

This is not the only European festival appearance that British progressive pop-rockers Muse will be making this year. The band has already been announced to perform Rockavaria as well as it’s sister festival the Grüne Hölle Rock Festival followed by the Rock In Vienna Festival the following weekend. All of these appearances might have something to do with the new album that Muse announced last year, though the band hasn’t hammered down a clear release date yet.

Likewise, Calvin Harris is also booking tons of festivals, although he has already dropped his most recent album Motion. He has signed on to play the Festival Estereo Picnic as well as several Latin American iterations of the Lollapalooza festival including Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Most recently, Harris released video of his collaboration with HAIM entitled “Pray to God,” which is featured on Motion.

While they wait for their first album in almost 20 years (Sol Invictus) to come out this May, Faith No More have also been astoundingly busy attaching themselves to festivals. With the music industry abuzz about the new release, the band has landed prominent spot in the lineup for Rock in Rio, the largest event in Brazil’s festival season. For Los Angeles fans who don’t feel like flying that far south, the band is also playing three shows in late April at the Wiltern. Judging from their performance in Japan, where they introduced the new song “Cone of Shame,” all the hype may well be justified.
