Warpaint debuted a new single “No Way Out (redux)” on Zane Lowe’s UK radio show last night.
The song, debuted on Zane Lowe’s UK radio show, was written last year by Theresa Wayman. Band mate Emily Kokal spoke about the song in an interview, stating, “When my friend Theresa in my band started writing this song called ‘No Way Out,’ which we haven’t recorded yet but have played live, I pretty much couldn’t listen to it without crying. It also makes me so proud of where she’s gotten as a songwriter.”
Warpaint recently released their second and self-titled album in January on Rough Trade Records. The band is currently on tour supporting their new album, and will be hitting Europe after a performance this weekend in Los Angeles.
