Lil Wayne has scheduled a show to play The Coliseum in the midst of the South By Southwest Music portion, however; the show is not affiliated with SXSW and the venue will be selling tickets for entry to the show. With a show like this, Wayne is expected to pop up somewhere at the festival like last year at the MTVu Woodie Awards.
Lil Wayne’s musical career started in 1999 with the release of his debut studio album, The Block Is Hot. The album was later certified platinum by the RIAA. His peak of popularity came with the release of his fourth album, The Carter. The album consisted of his popular singles “Lollipop,” “A Milli” and “Got Money.”
If you’re not a SXSW go-er or want to escape the madness for a little bit…head to this weirdly random/awesome show!
