Fans of the alternative metal group Faith No More will have three opportunities to see them perform live at The Wiltern when they play back-to-back-to-back shows on April 22, 23 and 24. The third show was added by high demand. That’s no surprise – everyone is eager to see what’s in store considering Faith No More hasn’t released a new album since Album of the Year in 1997. Fans won’t have to wait any longer as their seventh studio album titled Sol Invictus is coming out May 19.
The band’s latest single “Motherfucker” from Sol Invictus was released last November to moderate success, charting up to 46 on the US Billboard Rock Digital Songs. Their next single “Superhero” is planned for release on March 17. The new album also marks the return of longtime record producer and collaborator Matt Wallace, who helped with the final mix. He has worked on five previous Faith No More albums.
The band has been active for the past six years, but before that they were on a decade long hiatus from 1998 to 2009. Faith No More is looking to make up for lost time by delivering music to the hardcore fans that have been waiting for a new album for the past 17 years. Check them out now before they’re gone for good.
