New Jersey’s Screaming Females will be going on tour in North America and Europe this spring, with dates from late February to mid-May.
The punk rock trio is comprised of Marissa Paternoster on guitar and vocals, King Mike on bass and Jarrett Dougherty on drums. Their sixth album, Rose Mountain, is set to be released February 24 on Don Giovanni Records, and is currently available for pre-order. They have already released three singles off the forthcoming album, including the tracks “Empty Head” and “Wishing Well,” plus video for “Criminal Image.” The band also recently released a live performance of the previously unreleased song called “It’s Not Fair.”
The tour, which is in support of the release of Rose Mountain, will begin with Screaming Females’ performance at the 2015 Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco. There they will be joined by acts such as Caribou, Best Coast, Langhorne Slim and The New Pornographers.
