The Ting Tings are a British musical duo consisting of Katie White and Jules De Martino. They formed in 2007 while based at Islington Mill Studios in Salford, Manchester. They have released four singles on their current label, Columbia Records UK, including their hit “That’s Not My Name,” which was number one on the UK Singles Chart in 2008.
In 2008 The Ting Tings released their album, We Started Nothing, which hit number one on the UK Albums Chart. Their single, “Hands,” was released in 2010 and was featured in the video game FIFA 12. Their second studio album, Sounds from Nowheresville, was released in 2012. The lead single was titled “Hang It Up.”
Their latest album, Super Critical, was recently released last year. Their first release off of the album was “Wrong Club” followed by “Do It Again.”
