The inaugural Loudwire Music Festival will rock Jam Ranch in Grand Junction, Colorado, from June 26-28th, 2015.
The new festival is produced by Townsquare Media, Inc., which is the same company that owns and operates one of the leading websites in rock coverage, Loudwire.com. So, with the bar set high from the reputation of the website, the festival bill will feature some of the most talented and well known rock bands performing across three stages. The organizers’ goal is to create the most dynamic, interesting and fun rock music festival in the West, according to a press release.
So, in order to accomplish that goal, who are they going to bring in for 2015?
As previously announced, Linkin Park will headline one day, and the other two days will be headlined by alt-rock band Weezer and Rob Zombie, the creative visionary in both film and song. Additionally, A Day To Remember, Halestorm, and Hinder will be performing during the weekend, and the organizers promising that the full lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
Although all of the bands are creators of anthemic material, those in attendance in Colorado will also get an opportunity to hear some of the new music, as well as their favorite classic tracks. Let’s take a look at what’s been going on with the newly announced acts.
Lately, Rob Zombie has been hard at work on a new film, called 31, but he’ll take a break from that work in order to bring his raw live show to Loudwire. His set, according to a press release, will feature an arsenal of incendiary, infectious classics, along with the Top 10 Active Rock single “Dead City Radio and The New Gods of Super Town” from his latest solo album, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor.
Much like Zombie, arena rockers Weezer will be supporting their recently released ninth studio album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End. And, they will also be playing a number of hits as they celebrate 20 years in the music business.
Lastly, Halestorm is releasing a new album – Into the Wild Life – on April 7th, 2015. And, the band’s frontwoman Lzzy Hale said the following in a press release:
“The boys and I are so stoked to be coming to Colorado for Loudwire Music Festival! This is one of the events we are looking forward to the most this summer! Prepare yourself for some crazy new tunes and your faces to be melted into your shoes!”
