The little town of Pryor, Oklahoma, will host some of the largest names in alternative dark-rock for their next annual Rocklahoma festival. It looks like it will be a loud weekend.
There were over 100,000 people at the first Rocklahoma, which is more than ten times the population of the town that it is hosted in! Given the fact that this festival was presented by Bud Light, and offers so many original rock and roll bands to choose from, one can easily understand why so many thousands have flocked to Oklahoma over the years for a festival that is included in “the world’s loudest month”
Since 2008, the festival has been keeping followers of radio rock music coming back year after year to swell the ranks of those devoted fans of such acts as Project Terror and Ratchet Dolls.
Previous acts to play the festival include Motortrain, Blackwater Rebellion, Dirty Crush, Seether, Hellyeah, Texas Hippie Coalition and Well Hung Heart.
