Boston five-piece, Magic Man, have announced their first ever headlining tour! And they’ll make an appearance here in Philly this March. The spring tour kicks off on March 6th in Columbus, Ohio. And the gang will make their way to Philly to play at Union Transfer on March 16th. Support for the tour will come from Panama Wedding. This is sure to be a great show, so be sure to grab your tickets now!
Back in October, Magic Man were opening for Smallpools on their Ones to Watch tour. Panama Wedding were here a bit later, in November, to play a Radio 104.5 $1.04 show at Boot & Saddle. Now you can catch both of these fun acts when they make their way back to Philly.
Panama Wedding, hailing from New York City, are relatively new to the scene but are quickly making a name for themselves since forming in 2013. Early success of their track “All of the People” brought the group a record deal with Glassnote Records. In 2014, they released their EP, Parallel Play. The EP reached number 22 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers Chart.
Like Panama Wedding, headliners Magic Man are also relatively new to the music scene. They released in 2010, but released their first EP You Are Here in 2013. Before the Waves, their first full-length album was released in July of 2014. The album’s single “Paris” debuted at #39 on Billboard. That same year they toured with Panic! At the Disco and Walk the Moon, cementing themselves as a must-see act. Fans of the band will surely be excited to see them finally performing in the headlining slot this March at Union Transfer.
