Former Sonic Youth member Kim Gordon announced dates for a supporting tour for her new memoir, Girl In A Band.
Kim Gordon’s upcoming memoir, Girl In A Band, is a tell-all story featuring tales from her days as the bassist for Sonic Youth, her experiences with being a woman in New York’s music scene, and her relationship with Thurston Moore. With the book set to release on February 24, Gordon has also added a slew of dates for a promotional tour to spread the word about her memoir. The tour will feature several guests that will host interviews with Gordon, including Carrie Brownstein of both Sleater-Kinney and Portlandia fame, Aimee Mann, and Mountain Goats drummer Jon Wurster. Several California dates have been announced for the book tour, with one such appearance taking place in Los Angeles.
