Reggie Watts Will Lead the Late Late Show Band

In a bid to outshine other celebrity band leaders going to late night shows, the retooled Late Late Show with James Corden has chosen Reggie Watts to lead their band.

Crave Online first reported the story, noting that Watts’s skills as both a comedian and musician will probably serve the Late Late Show well. The revamped show hosted by James Corden is set to begin on March 23, following the new Late Show starring Stephen Colbert.

Recently, Watts performed “I Once Knew A Horse” on Conan with Billy Gibbons and Travis Stever to promote his upcoming album. Watts also contributed a cover of “Brownsville Girl (Reprise)” to the tribute albumBob Dylan In The 80’s: Volume One.
