Mark your calendars, because this February you’re going to want to be at World Cafe Live for when Grizfolk take the stage. The LA-based 5-piece will be performing on February 5th Upstairs at WCL. The group will be headed out on their upcoming The Vagabonds Tour, which kicks off late January in Chicago.
Grizfolk formed back in 2013, and have been quickly gaining steam ever since. That same year they signed to Virgin Records. They released their debut EP, From the Spark, in February of this year. The EP included hit tracks “The Struggle” and “Hymnals.” The EP made it’s way onto several Best Of 2014 lists, including the iTunes New Artist EPs list.
Just this past fall, Grizfolk were in town to support Bastille on their US tour. They have just released a live EP, From the Road, which was recorded while they played to a slew of sold-out audiences along with Bastille. No word yet on who might be supporting Grizfolk on their upcoming headlining tour, so stay tuned for more information on that.
