The Bridge is designed to appeal to fans of rock ‘n’ roll, focusing on a small town musical prodigy at a crossroads in his life, torn between exorcising the demons of his past or continuing down the same self-destructive path. Santiago will portray a shady, acoustic guitar-playing motel owner that interacts with the main character.

Appearing along members of such prominent acts, Santiago has said:

“Being part of a cast that includes musicians from Ministry, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister and Thin Lizzy, I really feel like the odd-man out. But I’m really excited about being involved.”

Shooting is set to begin in mid-2015. Funding is being crowd sourced through IndieGoGo, allowing contributors to bid on rewards. One of the more interesting packages includes a home cooked pasta dinner from Santiago for you and five of your friends.

Santiago has also been active with the Pixies, who just released the deluxe reissue Pixies: Doolittle 25 December 2 on 4AD.
