Watch out Fort Meyers! April 25th will be a jam packed day of loud double bass hits and screaming guitar melodies, as some of the biggest names in the alternative metal genre get together to throw down hard.
It seems that Fort Meyers has become a sort of mecca for lovers of hard alternative metal acts such as Paparoach and Slipknot. Last year, Rob Zombie, Korn and Five Finger Death Punch were some of the bands who graced the eardrums of those who attended with their fiery brand of relentless rock music, and it seems that this year, Monster Energy is committed to matching the star-power big name acts. Breaking Benjamin, who had been on a hiatus, are working on their reincarnation and will rise through the ashes in Fort Meyers for what is deemed to be the “World’s Loudest Month”. The festival is now in its third year.
Slipknot’s leading man, who often appears in a deranged clown costume on stage, has stated that
It’s gonna be awesome bringing one of the world’s loudest bands to Fort Rock for the World’s Loudest Month. I hope the fans are ready because we’re coming for everyone.
