Marilyn Manson’s Representative Denies Manson’s Involvement In Lana Del Rey’s Sexual Assault Depiction Video

A dark, eerie, grim, controversial video that would make Law and Order SVU and Sons of Anarchy fans cringe, has made it’s way to the internet featuring Lana Del Rey and Marilyn Manson, and nobody wants to take responsibility for it.

With no title, lyrics, or dialog, just slow motion, focus pulls, psychotic visions of what appears to be Lana Del Rey being raped wearing a Texas Chainsaw Massacre t-shirt, Marilyn Manson on a rooftop with a sniper rifle, a woman being drowned in water while blood spews from her mouth, a transgender misfit party, women destroying a dinner scene around Manson, a praying mantis eating a ladybug, and just the single word STURMGRUPPE, this video clip is wicked to say the least.

According to Pitchfork:

“Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music,” said Manson’s representative, Kathryn Frazier of Biz3. “It must be a fan video splicing up old Manson video footage with someone else’s Lana Del Rey footage”

Many of the clips seem to be taken directly from the videos for Marilyn Mason’s “No Reflection” and “Slo-Motion”, although there are many shots, appearing to be or made to appear to be Manson, that are not from these videos.

Last year, Eli Roth, the director of the morbidly gruesome film “Hostel” about backpackers being taken hostage and dismembered, told Larry King in an interview, that he had shot footage of Manson and Del Rey. He said that,

“The footage is so sick, it’s been locked in a vault for over a year,” he said. Manson’s camp is claiming this footage was not filmed for a Manson music video or specific project.”

Manson, not a stranger of shocking and horrific content currently plays Ron Tully, the shot-calling white supremacist, who helps Jax Teller from inside prison on Sons of Anarchy.

With mostly speculation on the origin of the video and none of the camps taking credit, mxdwn will keep you updated as more information surfaces.
