New York’s downtown rock band Interpol and tour mates Hundred Waters are currently stuck in the snow.

According to Pitchfork, the bands have been stuck in a snowstorm in their tour busses for 40 hours, on their way to a performance in Toronto.

The band has been live tweeting about their experience,

Interpol and Hundred Waters were on their way to a show in Toronto, which was cancelled, and were traveling through Buffalo when they hit the storm. They’re scheduled to play in Montreal on Monday.

Recently, Interpol released their fifth studio album El Pintor, in September under Matador Records. It is the band’s first album without bassist Carlos Dengler, who lead vocalist Paul Banks took over for on the latest album. The album also includes special guests Brandon Curtis (Secret Machines), Robert Joseph Manning, Jr., and Rob Moose (Bon Iver.)

The album was produced by self-produced and engineered by James Brown and mixed by Alan Moulder. Dom Gourlay of Drowned In Sound reviewed the album, stated, “Bold in intention and quiet in confidence, they’ve gone back to basics here and for the most part, the results are sublime.”

Hundred Waters, also stuck in the snowstorm, is currently on tour with Interpol, touring the US and Canada. The band released two EPs to positive reception this year, The Moon Rang Like a Bell and Down From The Rafters Remix EP. The band has also recently toured with Msa Ysa, GEMS, and Pure Bathing Culture, performing at Pitchfork Music Festival.

The storm that the bands are currently stuck in unleashed six feet of snow on Tuesday in Buffalo, shutting down schools, trapping people in their homes, and killing four people.

Interpol and Hundred Waters are still set to perform in Toronto on Monday, and will conclude their tour with performances in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, and Washington D.C..

UPDATE: After a total of 50 hours stuck in the snow, Interpol and Hundred waters have finally been freed. After canceling their Toronto and Montreal shows, the bands now have to cancel their Boston show because of the closed roads. They are now held up in a hotel in Buffalo.
