The Savannah Stopover Festival is going into its fifth year with great momentum! The lineup is impressive for its first round; over 80 bands will perform at the festival. Don’t miss out!
Next year will mark the 5th anniversary of the Savannah Stopover Festival, and from the looks of it, they aren’t slowing down! The festival is set for March 5-7 in beautiful downtown Savannah, Georgia which is conveniently located near interstate 95 and 10, a stop en route to the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas. The festival finds its roots in allowing artists traveling to SXSW to stop and perform in the welcoming southern atmosphere that Savannah offers, however, it is becoming more established in its credibility as a music festival. With notable artists and the hospitality and history of the town itself, the Savannah Stopover Music Festival is sure to grow even more. The venues are set throughout Savannah’s walkable Historic District, where the festival attendees can roam from each small to mid-sized venue to hear an abundance of great music. Leading up to the festival, there will be events held in the area that would be a shame to miss. Included in these events are feature performances at the Southbound Brewing Company on November 21, where there will be performances from Futurebirds. Then on January 16 another event where River Whyless performs will announce the final lineup and schedule. This is definitely an event that you don’t want to miss. Buy tickets below!
