Delong is headed out on a brief North American tour that will kick off on December 12th in New York City. He’ll make his way to Philly on December 15th when he performs at Boot & Saddle. Robert Delong hails from Washington state. Delong grew up just outside of Seattle and was heavily involved in music from a young age, playing drums in various bands throughout high school and college. And his background in percussion is evident in his songs and his live performances. In 2012, Robert Delong released the Global Concepts EP. The album, Just Movement would follow in 2013.
But it was hit track “Global Concepts” that really catapulted the young performer. The song reached #33 on the Billboard Alternative charts in 2013. That same year, Robert Delong was added to the lineup for Made in America Festival, playing to a crowd of adoring fans. You can grab his new EP, Long Way Down, in just a few days when it’s released on November 10th. You can already take a listen to the infectious new single of the same name. In addition to Delong’s upcoming winter tour, West Coast fans can catch him when he opens for St. Lucia. But for Philly, we’ll have to wait until he arrives at The Boot this December.
