The track listing for the highly anticipated soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (Republic Records) has finally been announced! The track list, curated by 17-year old New Zealander LORDE, features a surplus of unique artists and excitingly innovative collaborations.
The soundtrack includes sounds from pioneering artists such as Charli XCX feat. Simon Le Bon, Bat for Lashes, The Chemical Brothers, Stromae feat. Pusha T, Haim, CHVRCHES, Tove Lo, Raury, and Grace Jones feat. Miguel.
The listing also boasts a special rework of LORDE’s previously released hit single “Yellow Flicker Beat” by the revolutionary Kanye West. LORDE’s “Yellow Flicker Beat”, just released last month, flew to the #1 spot on the Soundtrack Top Songs Chart and surpassed 4.5 million views on Vevo.
The soundtrack will also provide an additional surprise track.
Digital pre-orders for the soundtrack on iTunes have officially gone live Tuesday. The album will be available for purchase in stores and online on November 17.
