While sticking to their classic “less is more” approach to their music, which is something of a rarity in the world of electronic music, SBTRKT has released yet another single off of their upcoming record, Wonder Where We Land, entitled “The Light.” The single features a vocal contribution from none other than Denai Moore, whose vocal style meshes quite nicely with the parred-down electronic beats.
Ever since their initial announcement of their newest upcoming record, SBTRKT has been hard at work promoting the record, releasing one song after another. Each of the four tracks that were announced prior to “The Light” have increased the anticipation for Wonder Where We Land by rough estimate of a billionfold. Both “Voices In My Head” and “Higher”, which were released within week of each other, and “NEW DROP NEW YORK” and “War Drums” have shown the great progress the group has made, despite this being the group’s sophmore release.
