Lil’ Wayne has released a new video for “Grindin’,” the latest single from his upcoming album The Carter V. The video features Drake and includes a montage of clips from his current tour.
Lil’ Wayne has been hitting the touring circuit in support of The Carter V, recently bringing Drake on board for a co-headlining tour which is currently underway. Along with the tour, Lil’ Wayne has also released new video for the single “Grindin’,” which is featured on the new album. The video, which was directed by DJ Scoob Doo, features a montage of images from Lil’ Wayne’s tour, showing off the energy that both Lil’ Wayne has and the audience is more than happy to reciprocate. While talk of the new album has been building, there are a few who feel the video was not the best move to make. There are a few who feel that “Believe Me” was the more powerful single, and thus more deserving of a live video. Whatever the reason for choosing “Grindin’,” the single itself does effectively show off the potential of the new album, whenever it may hit stores.
