Meet the sunny part of Norway with the new video! Sondre Lerche, a 32-year old Bergen positive weirdo has just released a new clip “Legends”, the track from his upcoming record “Please”.
Just five days before LP release and start of the U.S. tour, the video, shot in one piece, shows Sondre and four backing dancers doing bizarre dance moves someplace where human civilization meets wild nature.
It really feels Sondre invented the dancing part himself, as the moves perfectly complement the singing. With a feeling of ‘Norwegian Vampire Weekend’, Lerche leaves the aftertaste of slightly involuntary joy, as the release of the forthcoming record is preceded by the painful divorce of singer-songwriter.
Anyway, the video is not about making judgement; more about relaxed listening and having fun. Try “Legends”, and repeat the moves after Sondre.
