Instagram is exploding with enthusiasm over a surprising new DJ coming to the fold. What’s most surprising is that the DJ in question is none other than Thom Yorke of Radiohead.

When not recording another Radiohead album or pursuing solo projects of his own, it appears that Thom Yorke is quite a turntable enthusiast. Making his first appearance at the Roosevelt Hotel since 2009, Yorke suprised everyone in earshot by doing an unannounced DJ set during the Nightswim party at the Tropicana Pool. Unlike 2009, however, partygoers quickly caught on to Yorke’s vinyl antics and snapped a few photos, posting them to social media site Instagram in the process. While one may not be used to seeing Yorke so near to a turntable, the Radiohead frontman seems to be right at home, spinning a few records with an almost zen-like focus, stopping every so often to flash a grin at some of the attendees.
