Chief Keef is headed to Philly this September. The young rapper will bring his show to The TLA with support from Bigg Homie & Major. Grab your tickets now and head to South Street on September 22nd!
At just 18 years old, the young talent has been quickly making a name for himself due to a slew of legal troubles. But also, for his obvious talent. Drawing guest features from the likes of 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, and Rick Ross. In 2013, he was named as part of XXL Magazine‘s Freshman Class. And later that year he joined Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad Records. In the time since, he has released several mixtapes and spent a bit of time in jail. After his October stint in jail, Chief Keef began working on his second studio album. Bang 3 has been long awaited at this point, but it seems that we finally have a tentative tracklist. We can expect features from Lil B and A$AP Rocky.
This news comes after a judge has agreed to work around the Chicago rapper’s tour scheduling for an upcoming hearing. This is just one of the legal issues surrounding the young musician. This past June his performance at a Cicero venue was cancelled amid worries over potential violence. The police chose to take action after hearing threats aimed at Chief Keef and his entourage. Hopefully this sort of thing is isolated to his home state and we won’t see that sort of trouble when he heads to Philly this September.
