New Politics is a dance-rock band from Copenhagen Denmark. The band consist of David Boyd (lead vocals), Soren Hansen (guitar/bass/vocals/keys/piano/programming), and Louis Vecchio (drums/percussion/backup vocals). New Politics sound has been described as a blend of “punk, pop, and electronically induced dance rock” by AllMusic. They have released two full length albums, New Politics (201o) and A Bad Girl in Harlem (2013). They are best known for their singles “Yeah Yeah Yeah” and “Harlem.”

Harlem” was released in 2012 to promote, A Bad Girl in Harlem. Shortly after, the single hit the radio stations in the United States and gained the band major recognition. New Politics served as supporting act on Fall Out Boy’s come back tour “Save Rock and Roll” last spring. They have also opened for Pink!, Panic! At The Disco, and The Pretty Reckless.

Early this year, New Politics went on their first headlining tour with support of Magic Man and Sleeper Agent. They are currently on tour with Fall Out Boy and Paramore on the “Monumentour.”
