The Pretty Reckless is an American rock band from New York City. Current members are Taylor Momsen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Ben Phillips (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mark Damon (bass) and Jamie Perkins (drums). Momsen is known for her previous appearance in Gossip Girl as main character Jenny Humphrey, and Cindy Lou Who in Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
The Pretty Reckless’ debut album, Light Me Up, was released in the UK in 2010. The album consisted of three moderately successful singles, including their most well known, “Make Me Wanna Die.” The single topped UK Rock Charts upon its release. Two years after the release of their debut album, The Pretty Reckless released an EP, Hit Me Like Man, along with two new music videos of songs off of their debut album. Their second album, Going to Hell, was released in 2014, and was made famous by the songs “Kill Me,” “Going To Hell,” and “Heaven Knows“; all three topped the UK and U.S. Rock Charts.
The Pretty Reckless went on a worldwide tour in 2010 to support their debut album. Four days after the end of their worldwide tour, they embarked on their second tour, The Medicine Tour, where they appeared as a support act for Marilyn Manson and Evanescence.
