As a pair, What So Not actually began in 2011, but released their most popular track in November of last year. The song, “Jaguar,” quickly gained a ton of online buzz, receiving over 15,000 plays in about four hours. At this point the song has millions of plays on SoundCloud. The duo has been featured heavily on the festival circuit this summer and were also recently announced as part of Skrillex’s Mothership Tour.
Fans of Flume can also catch the DJ as he performers solo at Union Transfer at the end of July. While listeners of the young producer may be familiar with his more chill, hip-hop influenced sounds, they will likely be pleasantly surprised by his “more club friendly” side project, What So Not. The pair have had a busy year and they show no signs of slowing down. On June 7th, head to Soundgarden Hall and enjoy a night of dancing with What So Not.
