Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee Will Be Drummer on Smashing Pumpkins’ Upcoming Album

Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins announced two months ago that not only was the band working on new material, launching new website called Panopticon which would capture and post the evolution and creation of the material, but were planning on releasing two albums, Monuments To An Elegy and Day For Night with this material, and the surprises don’t stop there.

According to the Smashing Pumkins’ website, Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe, will be playing drums on all nine tracks of the Monuments To Elegy album. Along with this announcement, the band posted a picture of Tommy Lee and Billy Corgan sitting at the console in the studio.
