The latest from Brit indie rockers The Horrors, Luminous, is due out tomorrow and the band has just announced the North American leg of the tour they’ll be taking this fall, in support of it.
Luminous, currently streaming on The Horrors website, was produced by Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, The National) and is the band’s first since 2011’s Skying. So far the updated New Wave gem “So Now You Know” and the uptempo shoegaze-driven “I See You” have been released to the masses, and they hint at a powerful new album to come.
The Horrors just wrapped the Austin Psych Fest this past weekend, and are set to rock Sasquatch! in few weeks. They’ll then be playing such overseas fests as Roskilde and Reading and Leeds before popping back over to North America for their fall tour.
