The Icarus Account is a acoustic pop/rock band based out of Florida that consists of twin brothers Ty and Trey Turner. Together they have released 5 studio albums including, Hold On For Dear Life (2007), Mayday (2008), Love Is The Answer (2009), Sunshine And Rain (2010) and Keeper Of Your Heart (2011). Their newest album, Carry Me Home, is set to be released August 28, 2014.
Twin brother Trey shares about the upcoming album,
“This album is something that is raw and honest…it’s essentially a collection of stories from our lives, maybe as personal as we’ve ever been with our writing. I think what makes this album so special is that everything adds to the story, each instrument adds another brush stroke to the picture of our lives that we are painting.”
Carry Me Home, is anticipated to be an album that will take the audience on a deeply personal journey through painful breakups, falling in love and coping with divorce. Icarus Account’s website states that, “[The album] continues on with believing in love again, celebrating marriage, and ultimately wrestling with the fate that carried [the boys] through it all.”
