XPoNential Festival @ Susquehanna Bank Center/Wiggins Park 7/25-7/27

The 2014 XPoNential Music Festival lineup is finally here! WXPN previously announced the headlining acts that would be taking over the Susquehanna Bank Center stage. The star-studded names include Beck,  Ryan Adams, Band of Horses, Jenny Lewis, Dawes, and The Districts. Saturday’s SBC show features Ryan Adams, Jenny Lewis, and Dawes, and Sunday’s show will feature Beck, Band of Horses, and The Districts.  If those names weren’t enough to convince you to get your ticket for XPNFest, a slew of other names were expected to be added to the bill.

This morning they gave us the full lineup, including the acts performing at Wiggins Park. As a warm up for the announcements, we listeners were treated to a few songs from some of last year’s performers including Lord Huron and Phosphorescent. But at 9am, it was time for the 2014 names. Kicking off the announcements with recent Free at Noon performers, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Helen Leicht played their track “I Know It’s Wrong (But That’s Alright).” Next up was “Turn it Around” signifying that Lucius would also joining the bill. Other notable names added to the list include Old 97’s, The Hold Steady, Man Man, The Lawsuits, Jeremy Messersmith, and J. Roddy Walston & The Business among others. As usual, the lineup features both established artists as well as upcoming artists.

So how do you get tickets for the 3-day festival? Option one is to pledge to become a member of XPN. For $25/month you receive a pair of 3-Day Go Everywhere passes, two LAWN admissions to the shows at SBC on 7/26 and 7/27, and an XPN membership that gets you free beverages as well as festival artist meet and greets at Wiggins Park all weekend. This amazing deal as applies to all current members of XPN. For those of you who do not wish to become a member of XPN, you can purchase reserved seats for both of the SBC shows. Saturday’s show (7/26) will feature Ryan Adams, Jenny Lewis, and Dawes and you can buy tickets here. Sunday’s show (7/27) will feature Beck, Band of Horses, and The Districts and you can buy those tickets here. Reserved seating tickets for the SBC shows do NOT include admission to Wiggins Park. There will be  3-day passes for Wiggins Park, which will become available on May 1st. And 1-day passes are expected to go on sale in June. The schedule of events will also be posted sometime in June.
