NEW MUSIC ALERT: Sean Lennon’s The GOASTT Premieres New Video for “Moth To A Flame”

Clear ten minutes for yourself and watch the video at the bottom. Your ears are going to love it and so will your eyes. Sean Lennon’s The GOASTT, also known as The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger just released an incredible new video for their rock-symphony of a song, “Moth to a Flame.” Really, watch it below.

The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger/The GOASTT was formed in 2008 by Sean Lennon and his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl. Lennon and Muhl met at Coachella circa 2004 and have shared their creative insights ever since. Muhl is a singer and model and writer. They even named the band for one of her short stories, “The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger.” Sean Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, finds inspiration in his father’s work, and while there’s an obvious Beatle’s vibe, the pair made psychedelic sounds their own with wailing vocals and dampened percussion. It’s pretty hard not to dig that.

The GOASTT is set to release new album, Midnight Sun, in April this year. They have appeared on Late Night and Conan and are due for more success as soon as their album drops. The video, below is from their new album and will show you the depth of the musical talent as well as their ability to create new, deep, interesting stuff. Lennon and Muhl aren’t just following in the path of other musical inspirations, they’re trudging through and creating their own kind of music culture. Check out the video below and watch out for their upcoming tour!
