Linkin Park will be one of the headliners at the 2014 Download Festival in England.
The festival will take place in Donington Park from June 13 to 15. NME reports that festival organizer Andy Copping confirmed that the band will headline Saturday night of the event. Linkin Park will be performing the 2000 album Hybrid Theory in its entirety at the Download Festival, because, lead vocalist Chester Bennington said, “We have been kicking around the idea of playing Hybrid Theory for some time and the perfect opportunity is Download 2014.”
Last year, the festival headliners were Slipknot, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, 30 Seconds to Mars, Queens of the Stone Age, Mötörhead, A Day to Remember, Enter Shikari and Bullet for my Valentine. This year, those joining Linkin Park as headliners for Download Festival will include Avenged Sevenfold and Rob Zombie on Friday night and Fall Out Boy on Saturday night.
