Indie-pop shoegazers Camera Obscura have released a new music video for their track “Troublemaker” from their latest LP, Desire Lines.
Shot in the Scottish five-piece’s hometown of Glasgow, the video for “Troublemaker,” is an ode to old-school British Sci-Fi TV shows like Dr. Who and Death Watch. What do Camera Obscura have in common with these much loved programs? A low budget.
With lead vocalist and new mother Tracyanne Campbell on leave with her new baby, the band won’t be returning to the stage until 2014. They have, however, just released a special edition double 7″ vinyl featuring two singles from Desire Lines (“Do It Again” and “Break It To You Gently”) along with two brand new tracks.
