Adam Lambert was once offered the chance to be the frontman for Queen, but turned it down to pursue his own career. It took three years before he decided to take them up on their offer and was part of a tour last summer. The immortal classic rock band who lost iconic frontman Freddie Mercury in 1991, has now had this American Idol in many performances, including recently with current chart-topping band fun. at the iHeartRadio Music Festival last Friday.
The festival performance featured fun. frontman Nate Ruess performing vocals on “Somebody To Love” and “Fat Bottom Girls.” Adam Lambert came in on classics “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions.” Check out the video, but jump ahead to the 11:00 mark to see Queen.
Members of Queen have recently come forward with exciting news that several lost tracks featuring the talents of Freddie Mercury with pop icon Michael Jackson could be released to fans in the form of an EP.
