We get it. How could she have said no? After absconding with Paramore, the 21-year-old British pop spectacle Charli XCX (a.k.a. Charlotte Aitchison) now makes amends by rescheduling her stateside tour.
Weeks ago, the electro-pop heiress took a rain check on her headlining North American tour when Paramore leaned over and whispered “open for us” in her ear. It’s to be her first major tour through the UK’s largest cities outside of London, and we’re happy for her. No, really, it’s NOT that big a deal. Besides, she’s promised us a brand new set of appearances come October.
So fret not, America: she’s still into us. It’s like she read our mind: “I don’t know what my view is on love but I know that it’s really powerful. It can fuck you up.”
