White Denim’s new studio album, Corsicana Lemonade, is set for release on October 29.
The indie rock foursome hail from Austin, Texas, in 2005, and released several EP’s before settling on a specific sound that they felt suited them.
They will play this year’s Austin City Limits before embarking on a country-wide tour with Tame Impala to support the new album. Their music has been critically acclaimed and there is much anticipation for Corsicana Lemonade‘s release, especially since the first single, “Pretty Green,” can be streamed already. Wilco’s Grammy Award-winning frontman Jeff Tweedy helped the band in the studio in Chicago, where the album was recorded, mixed, and mastered. The band had previously found their time touring with Wilco highly inspirational and later turned to Tweedy—and his iconic songwriting ability—who invited them to record the album with his help at Wilco’s headquarters and personal studio, The Loft.
