Andrew W.K. continues to party hard. The rocker set a world record last night for the longest drum session pulled off inside a retail store.

In order to break the record, W.K. drummed for 24 hours – finally finishing his set at 7pm EST.

W.K. has been pretty serious about breaking the record. As Pitchfork reports, he has been drumming with weights in order to prepare. He has also made it clear that he won’t use any stimulants or caffeine.

He didn’t go it alone though. Some interesting collaborators joined him in his quest to break the record. ?uestlove, Marky Ramone, Lil Bub (the internet cat), and Zac Hanson of Hanson were just a few amongst a slew of visitors.
