Two-person experimental punk band, No Age, has just released “C’mon Stimmung” – the stunning first single to their fourth record, An Object.
Scheduled to drop worldwide this August with Sub Pop, An Object is the much-anticipated follow-up to No Age’s 2010 album Everything in Between. The brand-new, eleven-track record is produced by the band members themselves alongside their long-time collaborator, Facundo Bermudez. While distinctly preserving the integrity and politically-conscious motifs of the band’s former albums, Sub Pop suggests that through An Object “No Age has forgone the straight and narrow route, landing in a strange and unexpected place, feet planted in fresh, fertile soil.”
In addition to performing, recording and producing An Object, the band is also in the process of preparing and assembling the entirety of the album’s physical packaging – filling the positions of manufacturers and artists, as well as musicians. Further, the group has created an atmospheric “not-the-video” to supplement the release of their newest single. Listen to the new single and watch the video here:
